Flower Essence Consultations
Flower essences have endless applications and support us in all seasons of life. Each essence holds a specific energetic pattern and I act as a matchmaker to find which ones are in resonance with your specific needs. I may use divination practices to determine essence selection and to guide our session together. Following the consultation, I will craft a custom formula just for you. What is a Flower Essence?
A flower essence is a vibrational remedy made from the energetic imprint of a particular flower(s) captured in water. Essences can also be made from various natural objects including stones, animals, mushrooms & environments. They are both gentle and profound and work on the emotional, energetic, subtle parts of ourselves. Essences offer us support through all aspects of our lives, create more intimacy with the earth and act as an invitation to explore our inner worlds with more depth. They do not contain physical constituents making them safe to consume with no known contraindications. Essences can be used internally or externally. A custom essence formula can be preserved in alcohol, non-alcohol, or hydrosol base. I will primarily use essences I have made along with a few other essences made by other trusted herbalists. I make all my essences in ritual following divine instruction from the flower and/or other natural entities who are asking to be a part of the essence.
Meet the practitioner
Hi, I am Emily Benton (she/they), co-founder of Yarb aka a Yarb Sister. I live in Northwest Arkansas on unceded Osage Territory where I get the opportunity to grow herbs, raise animals and be in deep relationship with the land. I have been studying herbalism since 2013 and started a herbal business in 2019. I have completed the Flowering Round practitioner training with Sister Spinster, the Vitalist Herbal Practitioner & Alchemical Herbalism programs through the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, Reading the Body with Margi Flint, Reiki 1 & 2, as well as other various workshops over the years. I credit so much of my herbal wisdom to my direct experience with the plants and forever devoted to the realm of flora. Within my plant practice I have an emphasis on how plants support our emotions and nervous system, plant perception & communication, herbs for grief, bio-regional medicine making, and herb farming.
